🐝 Diamond Beekeeper
A complete beekeeping profession and business system for FiveM.
Diamond Beekeeper lets players build and manage a full beekeeping operation: place persistent hives, capture and manage bees, breed queens, produce terrain-based honey, craft and age Mead, run a Honey Stall, trade specialty items, and manage everything through a polished custom Beekeeper UI.
✨ Features
- Persistent Bee Hives with ownership, durability, feed, workers, storage, production progress, relocation, and management.
- Bee Houses for captured bees, storage, lure systems, and bee management.
- Terrain-Based Honey Production with configurable honey pools based on the hive's environment.
- Possible Honey Preview showing which honey varieties the current terrain can produce, including configured chances where applicable.
- Honey, Honeycomb & Royal Jelly production and collection.
- Queen Bee Systems including breeding, genetics, traits, generations, bloodlines, serums, and specialist trading.
- Mead Production with ingredients, fermentation, bottling, aging, storage, and ready/base barrel state transitions.
- Honey Stall Business with products, prices, stock, restocking, earnings, upgrades, and management.
- Collaborator Support for shared management where configured.
- Custom Inventory Artwork throughout product, supply, storage, and management screens.
🖥️ Premium Custom UI
Diamond Beekeeper uses its own custom NUI for the player experience rather than generic context menus. The interface features a dark-and-gold Beekeeper theme, responsive layouts, inventory artwork, live state updates, progress displays, shop pricing, management tools, and object-specific tabs.
- Bee Hive UI
- Bee House UI
- Mead Barrel UI
- Honey Stall UI
- Queen and bee management
- Shop and supply catalogs
- Native dialogs, confirmations, progress displays, notifications, and interaction prompts
Relevant object state can update while the UI is open, so players can see changes to production, storage, feed, terrain honey possibilities, and other data without constantly closing and reopening the interface.
🎯 Beekeeper-Native Interaction System
Diamond Beekeeper includes its own interaction/target system for Beekeeper objects and NPCs. It is purpose-built for this resource and does not require Diamond Beekeeper to directly depend on ox_target.
- Camera-aware interaction selection
- Efficient nearby-candidate filtering
- Configurable interaction distances
- Supports Hives, Bee Houses, Mead Barrels, Honey Stalls, shops, traders, swarms, and other Beekeeper entities
- Handles relocation, entity recreation, deletion, resource restart, and Mead Barrel model transitions
- Conservative vegetation fallback designed to prevent minor foliage from making valid Beekeeper objects impossible to interact with
🌍 Terrain-Based Honey
Hive production can be influenced by the surrounding environment. The server can configure honey pools for each terrain category, and the Hive UI can show the player what honey types are possible at the current location.
Examples may include:
- Wildflower Honey
- Mountain Honey
- Coastal Honey
- Desert Blossom Honey
- Common Honey
Honey pools and production chances are configuration-driven rather than hardcoded in React. Stored honey batches remain separate from the hive's current terrain possibilities.
🍯 Honey Stall Business
Turn production into a player-operated business. Honey Stalls support stock, visible pricing, restocking, earnings, upgrades, specialty goods, and management through the custom interface.
🍾 Mead Making
Produce Mead through a multi-stage system with ingredients, fermentation, bottling, aging, storage, and collection. Supply catalogs show actual inventory artwork and configured prices so players know exactly what they are buying.
🔐 Server-Authoritative Security
Important gameplay actions remain server-authoritative. Diamond Beekeeper validates ownership, collaborators, permissions, inventory, quantities, money, shop prices, object state, Queen systems, production, Honey Stall transactions, relocation, pickup, and other protected actions on the server.
⚙️ Direct Dependencies
Diamond Beekeeper is designed to directly require only:
- oxmysql
- A supported framework
- A supported inventory
Diamond Beekeeper itself does not directly require ox_target, ox_lib, or Diamond Lib when using the native providers. If your selected framework or inventory has its own dependencies, those remain dependencies of that external resource.
🔌 Framework & Inventory Adapters
Framework adapters:
- ESX
- QBCore
- Qbox
Inventory adapters:
- ox_inventory
- qs-inventory
- qb-inventory
- Custom adapter hooks where configured
Compatibility is adapter-driven. Exact framework/inventory combinations should be validated for the server environment being used.
🛠️ Installation
- Install and start oxmysql.
- Start your supported framework.
- Start your supported inventory.
- Install diamond_beekeeper in your resources folder.
- Configure framework, inventory, items, shops, terrain honey pools, interaction settings, and gameplay values.
- Add the required inventory items/images for your selected inventory.
- Ensure diamond_beekeeper after the framework and inventory resources it uses.
🧩 Developer API / Integration
Diamond Beekeeper uses modular framework/inventory adapters and a Beekeeper-native runtime. Integration points include framework adapters, inventory adapters, optional provider integrations, custom items/images, terrain honey pools, shop/supply configuration, and gameplay balancing.
Custom integrations should preserve Diamond Beekeeper's server-authoritative validation model.

Diamond Beekeeper is built for servers that want beekeeping to feel like a complete roleplay profession rather than a simple collect-and-sell activity—from placing the first hive to breeding queens, producing specialty honey, aging Mead, and running a Honey Stall business.
