Overview
Snow Realistic Brakes & Reverse Assist is a standalone FiveM vehicle immersion resource designed to make everyday driving feel more natural, believable, and roleplay-friendly.
Instead of vehicles feeling too weightless, too arcade-like, or too simple when stopping and reversing, this script improves several small but important driving details: braking behavior, parked handbrake behavior, slope rollback, reverse assist, rear parking sensor feedback, reverse camera support, and gear-shift animation behavior.
This is not a full handling editor, fuel system, or damage system. It is focused on improving the realistic feel of braking, parking, reversing, and vehicle interaction during regular roleplay.
Perfect for city RP servers, serious RP servers, economy servers, mechanic-focused servers, police RP servers, and car culture communities.
Development Note
This resource was originally planned to be developed as an exclusive vehicle immersion feature for Boyz n Da Hood RP / BNDH.
After further review, it was decided that the script would be released publicly instead, so other FiveM server owners and roleplay communities can use it as well.
The final public version has been cleaned, prepared for standalone use, and packaged for wider server compatibility.

Features
Realistic Braking Behavior
Adds a more believable braking feel to vehicles. This helps reduce the arcade-style feeling where cars stop too perfectly or feel too light.
The goal is to make driving feel smoother, heavier, and more controlled during normal city driving.
Parked Handbrake System
Adds improved parked handbrake behavior for vehicles.
This helps create a more realistic parked vehicle experience, especially for roleplay scenes involving:
-
Parking lots
-
Mechanic shops
-
Police impounds
-
Dealerships
-
Street parking
-
Garages
-
Roleplay meetups
-
Public city areas
Slope Rollback Behavior
Adds a more immersive vehicle behavior when stopped or parked on hills, ramps, driveways, or inclined roads.
This is useful for servers with mountain areas, steep streets, parking garages, or uneven terrain.
Reverse Assist System
Adds reverse-assist behavior to make reversing feel more careful and controlled.
This helps players maneuver vehicles better in tight spaces and gives reversing a more realistic feel compared to the default vehicle behavior.
Rear Parking Sensor UI
Includes rear parking sensor feedback while reversing.
This gives players visual assistance when backing near objects, vehicles, walls, or other obstacles.
Useful for:
-
Garages
-
Mechanic bays
-
Parking lots
-
Driveways
-
Dealerships
-
Police impounds
-
Delivery areas
-
Tight city parking
Reverse Camera Support
Adds reverse camera support for a more modern driving experience.
This feature makes the resource feel more complete because it improves not only braking, but also vehicle parking and reversing.
Gear-Shift Animation Support
Includes gear-shift animation behavior to make driving feel more alive.
Small vehicle details like this help improve immersion during regular driving and roleplay.
Optional HUD Integration
The script includes optional support for compatible HUD resources.
It does not require a specific HUD to run. If the supported HUD resources are not installed, the script can still function without them.
Standalone / Framework-Agnostic
This resource does not require ESX, QB-Core, Qbox, or any specific roleplay framework.
Compatible with:
-
ESX
-
QB-Core
-
Qbox
-
Custom frameworks
-
Standalone FiveM servers
This makes it easy to install across different server types.
Why Use This Resource?
Many FiveM vehicle scripts focus on speed, fuel, damage, or full handling edits. This resource focuses on the smaller driving moments players experience constantly.
It improves everyday vehicle immersion when players are:
-
Braking at intersections
-
Parking in the city
-
Reversing into garages
-
Backing away from walls
-
Stopping on hills
-
Using the handbrake
-
Driving more carefully during roleplay
-
Maneuvering vehicles in tight spaces
These small details help make the city feel more polished and less arcade-like.
